The enhancements to Weather you asked for are ready. What did we improve? So glad you asked:

• Choose from three modes (full, classic or compact) so you can control your view.
• We made the high and low temps more readable.
• Enjoy a three-day forecast at a glance (we added a graphical view).
• When you mouse over the city or forecast, you’ll see forecast details.
• Current conditions are now displayed within and for all locations.
• Severe weather alerts now included.

Plus you can search for additional locations right within the module. Enjoy the improvements!

I think it’s great but……

How can I change the default weather location to Denpasar Bali? I’ve just spent an hour going back and forth trying to do so, but couldn’t. Help!

Susan, go into your Module Options (click the “gear” icon at the top of the module). You’ll see your list of locations. Then move Denpasar Bali to the top of the list of locations by clicking the UP arrow icon next to the city name. Click Save, and you’re done!

Thanks Eric. The problem was entering the international location to get into “My Locations”.

When I typed “Bali Indonesia” it comes up with ‘not found’. But “Bali ID” turned into Denpasar!

Entering international locations could be made easier by explaining that you need to use codes instead of country names.

I like it. I really don’t need to look at stuff like the weather in other countries but still it his helpful to look at the weather for events. But i wish Yahoo would make the “Holiday Travel” a little more easier touse. Does anyone agree?

Well, that’s pretty cool. At least, it will be easier to do the currency exchange of what you want to check out for. Nice!

This is great, but I still cannot get current conditions for where I live – Baltimore, Maryland. It continues to say “unknown.” I have raised this issue a number of times in the past but it never gets fixed!

I can’t seem to add Beijing to my weather module. The module edit does not do the trick.

How do I get the temperature to stay in celsius?
I have tried reinstalling but the temps still show up in fahrenheit.
Is there a “save” button I can’t see?

Hi Chinba,

To change the display to Celsius, click on the wheel icon in the upper right hand corner. Click on scale, select Celsius, and then hit save. That should do it!
