Adding content just got easier!

My, oh my…
I hope you are as excited as we are about all of the improvements we’re making to My Yahoo!. We’ve now made discovering content a snap with the new My Yahoo! Content Gallery. Simply click “Add Content” in the navigation bar and the page will display interesting and useful nuggets of content that can be added to your page in one click. It’s so simple!
We’ve also improved the search results to help you find more quickly the stuff that interests you. Looking for daily recipe ideas? Try searching for “dinner recipe” and add Dinner Tonight Recipes, Yahoo! Recipe Search, and the Epicurious Healthy Dinner Tonight modules. Want to keep track of all the news for your favorite local sports teams in one place? Do a search and save only the results you want.
For example, try searching for “Cleveland sports” and add the Cavs, Browns, and Indians news and schedules. Searching for and adding content you care about will keep you in the know and ultimately save you time.
So go ahead and click “Add Content” to get the most out of My Yahoo!.

Is it possible to create new My Yahoo! tabs by duplicating an already existing tab??
That would make things MUCH EASIER for making a tab that is similar to another tab but perhaps all I want to change is the layout or a few other minor Content items.

Is there any way to filter out RSS feeds? I only like using My Yahoo with specially designed non-RSS modules (like weather, facebook, or customized baseball scores) because I already use a dedicated reader for RSS feeds. Having to wade through RSS feeds to find the specially designed modules is a real chore and makes me less likely to add new content.

How do I update my weather. It keeps showing cities I have not added, nor have I lived in these cities. I am very frustrated.

What happened to the Evite module now it’s a blog RSS feed? What happened to listing MY evite events?
What happened to setting custom colors for the layout?
How can I set a custom fonts?
I’m sorry I tried the “new” yahoo dozens of times during the beta period and hoped by the time you finally ended the beta it’d be better. It’s not.
How do I switch back to classic?

I fought with myself over the new version but have finally come to love it. One thing I would like to see is the ability to access my Yahoo! groups from the mail page. With so many groups I’m /sure/ its there somewhere but I can’t find it.

On the old my yahoo, i had a list of stocks that i followed, and if there were any news releases, there would be an asterisk next to the stock code so i knew to open it up. now i don’t find anything like that. Why is that?

Michael,
I have followed your instructions to Add Content.
When I click Add Content all that appears is “Add Content” , nothing. If I try a search it lists the item after Add Content>Search Results for (whatever the search is for and then ( ) with a number inserted. Whatever I then click, nothing else appears. Would you kindly instruct me as to the correct way to Add Content. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sandy

Sandy….I just solved that very problem by clicking on “view” on the top toolbar. Then scroll down to “text size”. Mine was set on large font, but by changing it to medium the page fit perfectly on the screen. It did reduce the size of the text, so then I went into the “change appearance” section on my yahoo homepage and resized the font to the larger size. It looks great now.

Michael, I can’t find my particular yahoo groups to add to my content, and the search engine doesn’t fine them either: gardeningorganically and organichomesteadinggardening. Is there a way to add them to my content?
Thanks,
Elle

I put the question in “Answers”. I am having trouble in adding any content to My Yahoo! page. I keep getting “Done, with errors.” message on the homepage. Even though I have Java applet, I get java void (0) when using the +Content or +Add or “previous”/”next”.
What is going on?
