Flickr has arrived! (Part 1)

Hi there My Yahoo! photo fanatics,

A few months ago, I created a Flickr account so I could share my photos with family and friends. Now, with the new Flickr module, I start my day with pictures of my nephew when I open my My Yahoo! page. :-)

I hope you’re as excited as I am about this new Flickr module. In order to see your photos, be sure to first set up a free Flickr account. Once you’ve done this, the Flickr module will stream your photos right onto your page. Then, click on any thumbnail image to view as a larger photo and even as a slideshow!

This module is jam-packed with cool features such as “Everyone’s Photos,” “Interestingness,” and a Flickr activity tracker. Check back here on the blog for Part 2 to get more information and tips on how to get the most out of the Flickr module. In the meantime get those Flickr accounts uploaded with photos!

  1. thanks for adding flickr to the My Yahoo page.. soon the page will look like a blog, only you don’t write in it.. or is that a coming-soon feature?? :)

  2. I love the MyYahoo’s image-only display mode (which also allows you to choose the number of items to display). And I love to see the uploads/faves from my contacts or comments/groups of my interest in separate modules (via different RSS feeds). In this way, I could spread those modules on one page, and easily keep updated with my friends without any extra click. :)

  3. i tried this, a nice feature, but took it off- it impacts page load time a great deal. (for me, anyway.)
