One module, “two thumbs up.”

My Netflix gives you a window into your account without having to leave your page. Just sync your module to your account. Simply add the module and follow the one-time authentication instructions. With one tidy module you’ll be plugged into the latest new releases and the most popular movie rentals. Check the “Top Rentals” tab for what’s hot on Netflix. In no time, you’ll be the supreme movie critic among your friends and family.
With today’s news about Netflix switching exclusively to Blu-ray discs over HD DVDs, it’s even more important to stay on top of your movie queue and make any changes to your theatrical repertoire.
Don’t forget to update your queue to get the perfect romantic movie for Valentine’s Day. And remember the popcorn.

so sorry, but I’ve had this module for a month, and the id registration always times out on me. Did i miss a step
how do you get that?
Hi Jeanette,
We had that issue with the module a few months back. Try it again and let me know if it’s not working properly. It’s supposed to be a one-time authentication, but let me know and we’ll try and figure something out. Thanks!

Can you guys at the “beta blog” message board thing talk with those at the “yahoo beta page” and let them know their page is still broken?
No one at the “My Beta Yahoo” cares that it’s broken. And apparently they don’t check any of their messages via email, tech support, or their very own feedback/suggestion board.
I can’t get this on my page. I’ve tried several times. What is the rss feed code?
I can’t get it to work either. Would be an awesome tool, if it would work, but I’ve never gotten passed “timed out”.
It still doesn’t work. You just get a “RSS id registration timed out. Click here to retry” message.
I tried to subscribe to the Netflix module on my yahoo page and I also get the “RSS id registration timed out” after pasting my RSS id from the Netflix page as instructed. Looked for help and this is the only help I could find on this problem — No help!
Same here – not working with Firefox or IE 7.
The widget LOOKS great – I wish I could get past the RSS id registration timed out error” though..
Likewise here–it just doesn’t work, always times out. Has Yahoo ever commented on this issue, or is it maintaining radio silence?
Thanks for your comments and patience. We are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. We’ll let you know when this is resolved.
Why make us go through all this trouble to find a small line, “we are working on it”? Why not take the module off until you get the thing working properly? I just wasted a half hour for nothing.
How about instead of “rss timed out” use the phrase, “it is broken and will be for some time until we get our act together?”
I got a reply to my tech support inquiry today. Though I’d share part of it since it has a repair ETA:
“Our engineers are currently working on resolving this issue and we estimate that this will be fixed within 5-7 business days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.”
