Ok everyone… it’s the middle of January. It’s time to get back into shape after the holiday season, don’t ya think? We’ve got just the tool to help you look at those summer clothes with a little more confidence this year.

Use the new Diet Tracker module as your virtual personal trainer to help keep you on track as you shape up. It’s real easy; simply input your starting weight, your goal weight and date and click the “Track Diet” button.

Keep it going with personal “weigh ins” scheduled along the way. When you’re due for a weigh in, all you have to do is click the “Weigh Ins” link and track your progress!

Add the Diet Tracker module now!

Good luck and we’ll see you on the beach :-)

My playoff football page.

Unless you’re in the huddle or coaching from the sidelines, it can be hard to keep up with football playoff season. I use the Football Page. to stay current with direct feeds and information from NFL.com, ESPN.com, Sports Illustrated, and my own customizable scoreboard. This way I have the inside scoop, bringing me one step closer to becoming the expert commentator among my friends from now until the the big day on Feb 3rd.

When I first added this page, I was amazed at all the information. I wanted only one or two football modules on my main page, but I also wanted to keep the rest of the football page to compare stories, stats, and stay informed. One of the ways I like to use pages like this that have great content is to pick the stuff I like most and drag it to my main pages I use most often. Just click and hold the header of the module as if you were dragging it around the page. Then, drag it over the tab name for the page you want to drop it onto. Give it a try!

So be the best fan you can be by staying on top of stats, injuries, coaching changes, or anything that might impact your team…or even better, the competition. Add the Football Page here or click the “Personalize this page” button, then “Add Modules,” and finally “Packaged Pages.” You will see “Football” near the top…don’t forget the nachos for the game!

Your page, collapsed.

I love My Yahoo!, but at times I get a little overwhelmed with all the good stuff on my page. I do have over 18 modules after all. So every once in a while I collapse some of my modules. “What’s that you say? Collapse your modules?” Absolutely, I collapse my modules. It’s an easily-overlooked feature, so I thought I’d share.

You can “collapse” or hide the module content. At the upper left of the module, in front of the module title, there is a down arrow. See below (outlined in orange):

Clicking it rolls up or hides the content…

This is great for those seldom-read modules you can’t bring yourself to delete (and even the content that may be less suitable for work!). The best part is you can still link to the source because the title is still clickable (for most RSS feeds, anyway).

So play around and let us know what you think.

Note To Self.

Hi everyone!

Ever get a great idea while you’re in the middle of doing something else? Or jot down a quick note and then misplace it?

This happens to me all the time. I love to multi-task, but I sometimes lose track of the little details. Lucky for me (and you if you need it!), My Yahoo! just released the Note to Self module.

Note to Self lets you jot down whatever you need to remember. It’s for the lyrics to a song that you heard, the name of that new restaurant or a gift idea for your sister. The best part is that it can sit right at the top of your page – easy to access and easy to read.

Add the module now and all you have to do is type! Voila – continue to multi-task knowing that you’ll never forget another thing.
