What’s a Packaged Page, anyway?

Adding a second page is simple – filling it up with great content can take some time.

Not that there’s a shortage of content (did you know there are over 7 million choices?) but it can help to have someone else do the hunting and pecking for you.

Our editors took their obsessively deep knowledge of content, and developed “Packaged Pages” which pull together the best info on popular topics. Add one that interests you and decide for yourself. Keep what you want, delete what you don’t, and move stuff around (it’s easier now).

These pages should give you ideas and help you find cool new content. So look around and find a page that’s right up your alley.

And tell us if you have a great idea for a Packaged Page, or have any comments on what you see.

  5. i like the idea of prepackaged pages. the page i would like to see would be for all things racing. bringing together in one place the best feeds for nascar, busch, trucks. f-1, etc. naturally yahoo racing would be included, but it is limited in what is covered. it would be nice to go to my 2nd page and get the latest from world rally, drag racing, motogp and others. and this could be applied to most other sports such as football, soccer or maybe a page devoted to olimpic sports so one could keep up with who may be representing which country in what sport.

  6. I hate the new beta page … In SPades ! ! ! !

I had everything set up the way I wanted it for a long time . Now all of a sudden here comes Beta to take my nice personalised page and screw it up! ! ! !

One of the main things out of the rest was my TV guide. NOW with the placement of the advertising module , which is un movable ,I can only view a narrow column .

Is there a way to opt out of the Beta testing ?

With my little knowledge I certainly will not be of any help.

  7. I would like to try out some “packaged pages”, but I can’t find them! I’m using “AT&T My Yahoo!” as my start page - when I search the “personalize / add content / modules” there’s no link for “packaged pages” to be found…

  9. To find packaged pages, try this: Personalize this page > Content: Add Modules > Packaged Pages.
